Continuing Social Distancing

March 29, 2020

Because of National and State guidelines, and because your safety is our priority, we are going to do church online again this week.

Please use this link to join us online on Sunday at 10:00 AM:

https://lifechurchhershey.online.church

This site has links to our Facebook Page and our Website for Connection, Prayer Requests, and Giving.  If you have not signed up to give online yet, you can do so on our site or through the link at hershey.online link above.

We will also send a link tomorrow morning at 9am with a link to our service on Youtube in case you are not able to watch with us at 10am.

We are continuing to postpone all of the groups and events on our current calendar, until further notice, as we follow our District Ministry Leaders recommendations, and to cooperate with State and Federal Guidelines.

As with last week, the Kid's Life Team has prepared a Video Lesson for this weekend.  They will send that in an email this afternoon!

Please continue to pray for our church, our State and National Leaders, as well as First Responders and Health Care Professionals!

In light of Current events

March 21, 2020

We hope that you are adjusting to our collective "new normal."  This may include remote work and kids at home.  We are now a "Homeschooling Family," something we never expected.  Some of you may still "have to" go in, or perhaps "get to", depending on your perspective!

We want you you to know we love you and we are praying for each of you.

We also wanted to update you about this weekend.  Because of National and State guidelines, and because your safety is our priority, we are going to do church online this week.

Please use this link to join us online on Sunday at 10:00 AM:

We have several teams working behind the scenes to make the move online as we prepare for Sunday and beyond.  We are working with the Worship and Media Teams to prepare to serve you for our Main Worship Service this weekend.

Our Kid's Life Team has prepared our Video Lesson for this weekend.  They will send that in an email tomorrow at 10 AM.

Beginning next week, I am planning two other virtual and interactive meetings:

Colossians Life Group Online:
We will meet online on Tuesday March 24 at 8:00 PM, to begin our study in Colossians.  We will send an invite link to Zoom (Video Conferencing) on Monday afternoon in an email.   This will be a LIVE call and will allow us to interact during the study.

A Virtual Prayer Gathering:
We will meet online on Thursday March 26 at 8:00 PM, to invest about 30 minutes praying for needs and ministry opportunities.  We will send an invite link to Zoom (Video Conferencing) on Wednesday afternoon in an email.

In the Meantime:
Please continue to pray for our church, our State and National Leaders, as well as First Responders and Health Care Professionals!

I encourage you to reach out to family, friends, colleagues, and neighbors, to be an encouragement and check on their needs.  Email, phone, text, and video calling all span the distance between us, and can be used by God to counteract the isolation of this time!

Sunday we will Teach through Colossians 1:1-14, so you can read it in advance if you have the time.  I'd also suggest reading the entire letter to get the context for Paul's concerns and instructions to a church in need of help.

Blessings,

Pastor David & Treva
